The first time I’ve gotten to have pizza in a long time! Definitely not as good as glutenous, cheesy pizza, but overall I am very happy to have had the opportunity—and the server is quite helpful!

I’ve ordered to go here multiple times and they really never let us down. We just had the bufaracha wings with blue cheese and they were kinda ridiculously good. Their inventive apps are great too, and the New Zealand pizza was very good.

Visited from LA with my family.. my kids are picky and half of us are vegan and one of us is gluten-sensitive, Red House was able to accommodate all of us! Thank you!!! It’s so hard to find a great restaurant that accommodates everyone and it’s rare when we all leave happy. Thank you Taylor for your great service even when the place was slammed. And if you like desserts, save room for the brownie, it’s very yummy! We will return when we visit SD again.

One of my favorite pizza spots in San Diego!! Update: Left the West Coast for a few years. Happy to be back and enjoying Red House Pizza again!! Still a top pick for pizza!!

The ambiance of this place is so cool, like a little alleyway with planters and bright colors. They have indoor dining space too. The menu here offers so many options from traditional pizza and Cali-style pizza. They also really are able to accommodate dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegan options already on their menus. The pizza is thin crust but packed with fresh flavors. We totally recommend this place!!

Pizza was great and the wait was short for some fresh pizza. Everything we got was GF and definitely held up. Crispy, delicious, and filling; didn’t skimp on anything.

Looking for a new, fun pizza place to try, I ordered delivery from Red House and it was delicious! The menu is quite different than your normal pizza joint, with delicious flavor combos like garlic white sauce with chicken and potatoes, or a creamy coconut peanut sauce with chicken, broccoli, pineapple and carrots. AND they even have a VEGAN menu featuring vegan pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, starters, and salads. My boyfriend and I ordered the New Zealand pizza (BBQ sauce), La Blanca pizza (garlic white sauce), the Goodness Salad, and Pigs in the Hood appetizer. And the leftovers held up great for cold pizza the next day (yes, we like cold pizza for breakfast)!

Great, great neighborhood pizza shop with some of the best gluten free crust we’ve ever had. Red House Pizza is a weekly tradition for my wife and I just because we want to try every single one of their pies. Highly recommend for pizza in the University Heights neighborhood.
